2025 Lawyer Play Raffle

  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Ontario.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: May 5, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: May 6, 2025 at 2:00:00 p.m. EDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 300-1227 Wellington St. W. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K1Y 0G7

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://lawyerplay.rafflenexus.com/winners on May 6, 2025.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Great Canadian Theatre Company.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Great Canadian Theatre Company or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Great Canadian Theatre Company does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: carolina@gctc.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at carolina@gctc.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Since its inaugural production of 12 Angry Jurors in 1999, the Lawyer Play has grown into a significant event in Ottawa’s legal social calendar. Over the past 25 years, more than 300 lawyers, law students, paralegals, judges, and magistrates have come together to perform, selling over 20,000 tickets and securing sponsorships that have raised more than $1.8 million for GCTC and various local charities.

This year is extra special as it marks the 25th anniversary of the Lawyer Play! Our 2025 charity partner is Cornerstone Housing for Women, Ottawa’s largest emergency shelter and supportive housing provider for women and gender-diverse people.

This year’s play is William Shakespeare’s As you like it, and the gala nights are May 1, 2 & 3, 2025.
